Ordering a repeat prescription
Order your repeat prescription online at a time that suits you.
Your details and information are protected by the highest standards of online security, so all you need to worry about is what to do with the spare time you’ve earnt.
Problems ordering online
Due to the Coronavirus pandemic, patients are no longer able to collect paper prescriptions from the practice. Instead, You can nominate a pharmacy by contacting the practice & your prescription will go electronically to a pharmacy of your choice.
Requests for repeat prescriptions are to be made in writing. We are unable to take requests over the telephone unless you are housebound. You can use the space provided on the detachable right hand side of your prescription or use Patient Online Access to request your medications.
You can also write your request on the prescription request form. The forms are located on the side of the prescription box in reception.
Alternatively, you can send your request by post and if you enclose a stamped addressed envelope the prescription will be sent back to you. Please give us as much notice as possible for your prescription requests, especially around the time of bank and religious holidays. We endeavour to have your prescription requests ready to collect in two working days. The prescription paper is valid for six months from the date of issue.
Please note: The volume of prescriptions is always greater at Christmas and Easter and other religious and Bank holidays, please allow extra time for your repeat prescriptions to be issued.
